What is RAD-150 (TLB-150)?
RAD-150 (also sold as TLB-150) is a benzoate ester of RAD-140, the nonsteroidal SARM developed by Radius Health. The ester group is attached where RAD-140 has a free hydroxyl, which makes the molecule larger and more fat-soluble.
There are no peer-reviewed studies on RAD-150 itself. Claims of a longer half-life or a smoother profile come from sellers, not from published data, so researchers usually treat it as a RAD-140 prodrug and read the RAD-140 literature.
The mechanism behind RAD-150
Esters like this one are normally cleaved by esterase enzymes, which would release RAD-140. RAD-140 then binds the androgen receptor and switches on androgen-responsive genes in muscle and bone.
Nobody has published how fast RAD-150 is cleaved or how much RAD-140 it releases. That gap is the main open question for anyone running RAD-150 in a lab model.

All published work on this chemistry is on the parent compound. Miller and colleagues (ACS Medicinal Chemistry Letters, 2011) described RAD-140 as a potent, orally active SARM that built muscle in monkeys with little effect on the prostate.
RAD-140 later went into a phase 1 trial in women with advanced estrogen receptor-positive breast cancer, because it blocks growth of some estrogen receptor-positive tumors through the androgen receptor.
