Description
LGD-4033 and YK-11 stack buyers get two bottles from matched, tested batches: LGD-4033 10mg/mL and YK-11 10mg/mL. Sports Technology Labs supplies it for in-vitro research only.
The compounds in the LGD-4033 and YK-11 stack
LGD-4033 (ligandrol, also coded VK5211) is a nonsteroidal SARM discovered by Ligand Pharmaceuticals and later licensed to Viking Therapeutics. It binds the androgen receptor with high affinity and, in animal models, acts strongly on muscle and bone while sparing the prostate.
YK-11 is a steroidal compound built on a dihydrotestosterone backbone, first described by Japanese researchers in 2011. It’s usually sold next to SARMs, but it’s a steroid and only a partial agonist at the androgen receptor.
The reasoning behind the LGD-4033 and YK-11 stack
The compounds in this stack don’t overlap: LGD-4033 binds the androgen receptor very tightly and has a phase 1 study in healthy men and YK-11 is a steroidal partial agonist linked to follistatin in cell studies. Labs that want to look at more than one pathway in the same model often order them together, and buying them as a set keeps the batches matched.
Because each compound comes in its own container, you can measure them independently and change the ratio between experiments.
Mechanisms in the LGD-4033 and YK-11 stack
Like other SARMs, LGD-4033 binds the androgen receptor and the receptor complex moves into the nucleus to switch on androgen-responsive genes. Its binding is unusually tight, with a reported Ki around 1 nanomolar.
YK-11 binds the androgen receptor but doesn’t trigger the full shape change that DHT does, so it activates only part of the usual gene program. That’s why it’s called a partial agonist.

Research behind the LGD-4033 and YK-11 stack
A phase 1 study by Basaria and colleagues, published in the Journals of Gerontology in 2013, gave LGD-4033 to 76 healthy young men for 21 days. Lean body mass rose with the dose, and the study also reported dose-related drops in HDL cholesterol and testosterone.
Kanno and colleagues showed in Biological and Pharmaceutical Bulletin in 2013 that YK-11 drove muscle cell differentiation in C2C12 myoblasts more strongly than DHT and raised follistatin expression.
All of these studies are indexed on PubMed. This combined search pulls them up.
LGD-4033 and YK-11 stack purity and lab testing
Sports Technology Labs doesn’t test its own products. MZ Biolabs in Tucson, Arizona, does, using HPLC for purity and mass spectrometry for identity. For this listing the posted result is LGD-4033 at 97.29% and YK-11 at 99.04%.
Scroll through the product photos and the certificate is there, with the test date and the chromatogram.
Why two tests? A sample can be very pure and still be the wrong compound. HPLC measures purity and mass spec confirms the molecular weight, so together they cover both problems.
If anything arrives wrong, the 60-day money-back guarantee covers it.
Measuring and storing the LGD-4033 and YK-11 stack
Every bottle is 30mL with a graduated 1mL glass pipette. Since the strengths differ, label which pipette belongs to which bottle:
- LGD-4033 at 10mg/mL: 1mL holds 10mg, 300mg per bottle
- YK-11 at 10mg/mL: 1mL holds 10mg, 300mg per bottle
PEG-400 is thicker than water, so draw slowly and let the pipette drain. Store the bottles capped in a cool, dry place out of direct light.
